New Awards for Out of Time

Hooray and Yabbadabbadoo! Out of Time had already been shortlisted for the 2016 Historical Novel Society Indie Award - although it didn't quite make the final four, but it was up against stiff competition. Then the lovely Helen Hollick awarded it a Discovered Diamond on her Discovering Diamonds Blog. Recently, though, it's picked up two more awards, which has made this little author very happy.

Book Two Will Soon Be Ready

I'm starting to get excited. Book two in the Out of Time series will soon be ready for publication. I'm doubly thrilled about this because when I wrote Out of Time, I had no idea it was going to turn into a series. However, as so many authors find - my characters ran away with the plot. Characters who only had tiny roles in book 1 suddenly wanted a bigger part. Others had health issues and took a back seat. A bit about me - for those who'd like to know

Ok, so if you would like to know a little about me - here goes! I was born in 19flubbetyflbu (oops, my keyboard just seized up! - you'll just have to take a guess at that one!) I wrote my 1st poem at school when I was ten - the teacher asked us to write a poem about a haunted house. I scared myself to death at bedtime for weeks with that one! Teachers, please bear that in mind for future reference!
